Cris Rose is offering up a preview glimpse at a new range of items expected to be released within the next few weeks – Mirrobots. A range of laser-cut acrylic mirrors in the shape of a selection of Sprogs, this first Mirrorbot series is an open run and features 6 detailed designs. Between 3.5″ and 4″ in size, each Mirrorbot comes bagged and on a header card.

Price estimates are likely to be around$12.00 each or $30.00 for a pack of 3.

Mer and Alkalay have used that universal familiarity in ‘Raw Edges’, a project where the colours lead you to believe the items are plastic. Get close up and you’ll see that they are high-spec beech wood.

Most interestingly, they say that their pieces have ‘Alice in Wonderland’ qualities as the scale of our childhood toys, now dwarfed by adulthood, regain some of their stature in this sympathetic environment. I guess there’s also a message about landfill versus biodegradable materials somewhere in there.

Limited to 100 pieces with a price of 8925 YEN per, release will be in late-May, with ZacPac taking special pre-orders on May 13th 0:00 Midnight (Japan time) for a limited run time.

Designed and sculpted by Knuckle from Little Chop Design – this first edition is called “Stay Gold”, as his exposed brain, teeth and Suicidal Cross is gold. This as well is the first toy ever made that can wear New Era mini cap (shown above). In my blog ,I have shared mang toys.Today I will keep on sharing.Today what I want to introduce is Benny of Tenacious Toys, it was back in the day when he sent over snaps of convention displays.

When I first knew, and I thought: “Now THERE’S my man-in-New York”! ~Me being thousands of miles away from where the action was at, meant a great deal to me, both then and now (regardless of original intent). Through the years, the name “Tenacious Toys” had become synonymous with “creator-exclusives”, which frankly is not that of tenan occurrence, especially with independent artists and production companies. And when I was downed with Stroke late last year, Benny showed a side of compassion for this humble blogger, and that was a measure how good this good man he is, IMHO.

What makes me like it is that Benny is to Tenacious Toys, as I am to the TOYSREVIL-blog . We remain synonymous with our chosen name, and what happens to it, is “personal” to us. It comes as no surprise I get to the depths of who BENNY KLINE is, and what Tenacious Toys is about.
