NFC Contact Is Attached To Hashable

NFC Contact Is Attached To Hashable

When you use phones, there’re already some NFC chips in it.But what are NFC chips?Do you know? How to use it?But NFC chips, which are already in some Android phones, can be used by other apps besides payments (which won’t take off as quickly as people expect anyway).
Hashable is a lightweight way to track the people you meet and exchange contact info. It’s completely replaced business cards for me. But on my iPhone, I still have to enter the person’s email or Twitter handle. With theAndroid app, if you meet someone else with an NFC-powered phone, you can just hold the phones next to each other and contact info will be exchanged via the app. It’s like Bump, without the fist-bump.
If the other person is a new contact, Hashable will add that person as one. If it is an existing contact, it will trigger the check-in feature, which on Hashable allows you to check into people instead of to places. It’s a way of noting that you are doing an activity with someone to remember later or broadcast it out to your network. The Android app also now includes a QR-code reader incase someone hands you a card with one of those. Scan it, and throw it away.

Don’t Open Source It,If Done ,There’s A Tragedy

Don’t Open Source It,If Done ,There’s A Tragedy

One word is spread amony us .It goes”if you;re going to kill it ,open source it.Another week, another company killing off a giant product after spending millions of dollars and years developing
It can be tracked to2009Cisco bought Pure Digital Technology’s Flip.At that time Gadget fans and makers were puzzled by this; phoneswere just about good enough to start beating the Flip. Now, it’s heading for the landfill.
Some companies fail, some kill off product lines that are not profitable, but in the end, where does all the knowledge go?If companies are going to just kill something off, why not open source it? Some companies do just that, and others, like Nokia, will promise open source (Symbian, dead product) and then quickly reverse itself, locking it up. Pictured above, a Nokia coffin.
No longer exist but should (or could) have been released as open source projects. Part of the goal is for you to post the ones you’d like to see “open sourced” as well.

Problem Of Thickness Of White I Phone4

Problem Of Thickness Of White I Phone4

Recently, you may see i phone4′s news everywhere, and you may see i phone products among your friend. But do you know it also has its problems? For its thickness makes problems both for the user and producers.
The white ones are some thick. The image above illustrates the point using a piece of lead from a mechanical pencil. So what, you say, in righteous indignation to a device that shipped ten months late. Well, the size difference creates a potential consumer issue since cases (at least the good ones) are manufactured against the tight tolerances supplied by Apple. We’ve confirmed ourselves, that an Incase slider that fits a black iPhone 4 just fine has to be forced into place on the new white model. Unfortunately, Apple‘s own spec page doesn’t highlight the change in thickness (measured at 9.5mm by TiPb). Instead it still shows a 9.3mm depth with a tiny disclaimer stating, “Actual size and weight vary by configuration and manufacturing process.” The result is confusion — will this case fit or won’t it? — which is never a good thing for consumers.
But why does it make so thick?Someone may tell us.Phil Schiller mentioned that his team needed to add extra UV protection and other tweaks, in an attempt to reduce the “unexpected interactions” between the cover’s whiteness and the internal components. As such, Apple apparently needed to sacrifice some slimness for a better functioning white phone. In the end, we have what looks to be four different size / button configurations that must be considered when purchasing a shrink-wrapped case for your white iPhone 4, black iPhone 4, white Verizon iPhone 4, or black Verizon iPhone 4. Good luck with that.
