Motorola Shows Off Xoom, Satirizes Apple in Super Bowl

Following up on its teaser ad, Motorola delivered the real thing on Super Bowl Sunday, showing the Xoom running a bunch of different apps and taking a few jabs at Apple in the process.
Motorola is hoping that the Xoom, the first tablet running Android OS 3.0 (Honeycomb), will be an iPad killer. Apple's Tablet currently has a commanding grip on the market, with iPads accounting for 75% of last quarter's tablet shipments.
The Super Bowl ad did not mention these details, but various leaks have confirmed that the Xoom will launch on February 24 with an $800 price tag.
With this release date nearing, Motorola has launched a Xoom product pagedetailing the tablet's specs. Highlights include a 1280 x 800 resolution on the 10.1-inch screen, the touted Android 3.0 OS, Adobe Flash support, and an NVIDIA Tegra 2 1GHz dual-core processor.
So, what did you think of the ad? Did it rival Apple's classic? Did it make you think about a role reversal between Apple circa 1984 and Apple in 2011? Did it make you want a Xoom? Sound off in our forums.
